YPAS Auditions!
We will be hosting several workshops to prepare students for YPAS Auditions over the next few weeks! The following dates are what we currently have scheduled:
- Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 2:30-4pm
- Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2:30-4pm

Guest Artist - Joe Brandt (tap)
Joe grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA and has been dancing since the age of six. He studied tap, jazz, ballet, and modern dance while also participating in a variety of local theatre productions including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man, and West Side Story. Joe continued dance while at Iowa State University as a member of several on-campus dance companies and was president of the tap dancing club for three years. He now lives in Des Moines, IA working as a data and process improvement analyst and teaches tap, jazz, and partnering in the community.

Guest Artist - John Keen (modern)

John Keen is a native of Louisville, KY. He has studied at the Ailey School, Steps On Broadway, and Broadway Dance Center in New York, NY, Gus Giordano Dance Center in Evanston, IL, Louisville Ballet, and Louisville Dance Academy Louisville, KY. John has danced with Modern Dance Companies: Art Art Barking Dog Dance Company (Louisville, KY), Heavens Radical Contemporary Company (Brooklyn, NY) and Seasons Dance Theater(New York, NY). John also starred in an Off Broadway show called "Miyorka' A Different Kind Of Love Story where he played a sassy, back talking butler. John has taught and choreographed for various small companies and dance studios in New York and Louisville. He started his own dance company, Keen Dance Theater in 2008 and traveled to Guyana in 2012 where his company was named Cultural Ambassadors of Guyana.
