Dear Noe Dance 2019-2020 Families and Students,
I am so thrilled to have you/your kiddos in my classroom this upcoming school year! I can already tell from the incredible first week that we have (plus the great start to this week) that it's going to be one of the best we've had so far! I have many personal goals for my teaching, and many new plans and ideas up my sleeves for our dancers to have the absolute best experiences I can bring them. One of which is starting this email list/blog (affectionately called The Curtain Call) so that I can make sure I'm really increasing my communication with parents and families, as well as the students' access to information...such as this copy of the schedule for this week (click here to access it)!
That said, a "bit" of housekeeping! The students have many impending deadlines coming up:

- Class Fees! (unless on fee waiver)
- 6th grade: $10 - includes shoe rental/replacement, costume rental/replacement, and space-use fees for semester
- 7th grade: $30 - includes shoe rental/replacement, costume rental/replacement, and space-use fees for whole year
- 8th grade: $65 - includes previously mentioned items, plus cost of Roadshow gear!

- Informational Meeting: Tuesday, August 27 from 6-7pm in the dance room! RSVP HERE!
- $200 discount for attending if you sign up for the trip!
- Many payment and FUNDRAISING options available
- Performance opportunity, high school credit, and/or college credit involved!

- Tuesday, October 8th - Parent-Teacher Conferences (all day - no school!)
- Saturday, October 12th - Showcase of Schools (all day - we'll need some dance volunteers to help out!)
- October 16, 17, and 18 - Noe Musical Theatre opens Once Upon a Mattress! (every night at 6:30pm - many dance students are involved!)
- Thursday, October 24th - 5th grade Open House ***I will be absent for this this year as I will be in Miami presenting at the NDEO Conference!***
- November 6, 7, and 8 - Noe Dance Theatre Auditions!!! (our very own resident modern dance company!)
- November (DATE TBD) - Noe Dance Thanksgiving Banquet/Potluck (a social event for all us dancey folk!)
- Wednesday, December 4th - FIELD TRIP: Mamma Mia! @ YPAS (we will need some chaperones for this!)
- December 4 and 5 - 7th/8th grade dress rehearsals 2:30-6:30pm
- Friday, December 6th - 7th/8th Grade Fall Concert! @6:30pm
- December 11 and 12 - 7th/8th grade In-School shows
- December 16 and 17 - 6th grade dress rehearsals 2:30-5:30pm (I will need 7th/8th grade volunteers to assist!)
- Wednesday, December 18th - 6th Grade Fall Concert! @6:30pm (I will need 7th/8th grade volunteers to assist!)
